  1. I miss Gamepro, and other irreverent gaming mags like it. They were few and far between, but not beholden, nor owned (at first), by corporate interests. Syzygy Magazine was another, although it was a hobbyist production (I was a writer for the mag). I *really* miss the original Electronic Games Magazine, but I come from that era, and it's long gone...
  2. I was born in the Computer Space age. It was the first video game I ever played. Of course, Pong was the second I feel very fortunate to have been born at the perfect time; to live through the Bronze AND the Golden Ages of Arcade Gaming
  3. I don't know how much it rates as "not well known", but I know *I* never heard of it until long after the NES went out of production. My vote is for Air Fortress. I love the way the game turns from a horizontal shooter to platformer. My favorite NES game so far. http://www.lakupo.com/grblitz/NES/usa_a03.htm
