  10. I hope Nintendo doesn't eliminate Mature titles from their line-up. Madworld was fun to play, and GTA on DS wasn't bad, but the idea of being fed shovelware for the lifespan of the system makes me green in the face. I purchased a Nintendo WII knowing it wouldn't have the same level of mature titles, but at the same time, I wasn't expecting to see a endless selection of party games with little replay value either. I concur with the sentiment about the WII being a casual gamer's paradise; there's plenty of simple games in the Wii's library to keep those people entertained. Will mature titles vanish from the Wii entirely? It may happen but only time will tell. I remember reading online somewhere that casual gamers were outraged by the release of Madworld, stating that it tarnished the Wii’s innocent image. Umm, yeah.
  11. The staff and I are very grateful for what you and the staff at RM have done for us and ClassicVGM. I openly accept your offer for an interview and I look forward to answering any questions that you, your members, and our current customers have for us. -Mike
  12. Thank you to everyone that has either purchased the digital version or has pre-ordered the print issue! We have exceeded our goal and the number is still climbing! You have made us realize that there is still enthusiasm for a printed magazine like ClassicVGM. Initially we planned on releasing ClassicVGM as a downloadable digital magazine with a modest fee, but you spoke out and expressed interest in a print version so here we are today. The first issue is limited to pre-orders only, so if you haven't pre-ordered your copy today, the deadline is June 6th, 2009. There will not be a reprint of the first issue after pre-orders ship. The digital version will remain available online for sale however. We are humbled by your enthusiasm and responses; the staff and I look forward to bringing you many years of classic video game coverage.
  13. Reading this interview brought back so many memories. Bill, you were my inspiration from the very start, and I want to thank you for the countless years of enjoyment.
  14. Update Pre-orders for the printed issue close June 6th, 2009. Some time is still remaining! -Mike
  15. WOAH, that's weird, we both joined this place today at about the same time! :o
