It appears you have gone to the old version of the site: oldgamemags.net
You need to go to oldgamemags.com for the current active site.
-
Also some members here have gotten magazine covers from OldGameMags scans to be used in the database here.
-
A small quantity of magazines are open to all but with a very very small donation you can get access to everything as long as you follow the rules. Kiwi got tired of some people downloading a lot of stuff and then reposting it as theirs elsewhere without any credit to the original scanners. The "donation" wall keeps out a lot of "troubles".

OldGameMags.com has this issue available. Not sure if it is a member only download. Check it out.

The Database record and download directly links are a little messed up on this one.

You can unzip or unrar the magazine file and then recompress it using older working version of compression. There is probably some information from ComicRack users on this topic.
-
My old version of Comic Rack does not open them either. Possibly they are rared or zipped with newest version not supported by comic rack. Newest version of Sumatra pdf does open them.

In the last few days I could use Chrome to download. Phillyman must have done the certification on the download server. Thank you Phillyman.

Here's something you can try. Go to Search box at top right of page. put in cd-i. A drop down has 3 section to "filter" your search. In first section, Search In, choose "Issues". Then push the magnifying glass icon to start your search. This will bring up a list of magazine issues in Retromags database that mentions cd-i in the contents section. You can then check the contents of those magazines to see if that is something you were looking for. Unfortunately not all magazines have the contents section filled out.

I posted on this in another section of the forum with a link to an article :

On Wednesday November 18 I started to have problems downloading files from Retromags. I use Google Chrome with an extension called Chrono Download Manager. The files would download and then never save. I disabled Chrono and used Chrome directly, it said files are insecure and then when I selected "keep" it would then download successfully. I tried Avast secure browser and had no problems. Today I found the following article about Chrome blocking insecure downloads. https://www.slashgear.com/google-chrome-will-start-blocking-insecure-downloads-from-secure-pages-06609014/ Hope this might be helpful to others and Phillyman.

The Retromags Magazine databases for Diehard Gamefan and Gamefan does have most of the covers in it. Many of the covers list lots of the games covered in that issue.

Slightly more than 2 month gap. There are 23,666 more teams.

I remember getting these early issues from Toys R Us (Norfolk, VA) before they were ever available at bookstores. I remember 2 issues, both Vol 1, No 1 issued a couple months apart, but not the same. Then nothing for a few months. Toys R Us did not do returns on these early magazines, so they were available months or years later, hidden by the newer stuff up by the registers
