    Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase PSM: 100% Independent Playstation Magazine Issue #3 which was the November 1997 issue. I bought the first two issues off the newsstand and then subscribed, and I have always had this hole in my collection. I'm not sure what price the old PSMs command since there are none on eBay, but I am definitely motivated to buy a copy in very good condition.     I personally never appeared in a gaming mag, but one of the things I like doing when I get a new old copy of Nintendo Power is to look through all of the high scores people sent in to see if any of my childhood friends are in there. Actually found a guy I knew in high school.

    Even though I've been gaming since the NES, the first magazine I subscribed to was PSM, which I subscribed to after the first issue. I definitely looked forward to its arrival every month. I quit reading it after it turned into a PS2 fanboy mag, but it was a great magazine in the PSX days. Gaming mags now are trying to appeal to the masses instead of video game nerds, and I find that I don't enjoy them as much.

    The only way to play classic systems on a modern HDTV is with RGB cables and an XRGB. Even then, they still look better on an old CRT-based RGB display.
