I think SHUMPS still have a decent support. Mainly as downloadable games on the current gen consoles. Although not quite what they used to be. I just found out tyrian was released on the Iphone! Love that game. I think Racing games are on a decline. There are fewer these days and usually offer nothing new really. Would love to see NFS get back to it's roots but this year I hear they are going with a gran turismo approach.

Oh god...I am going to get the crap flamed out of me for this one but...RPG. I don't know if they arejust to time consuming or if I just have a hard time getting into them. I have tried. I want to liek them so badly I really do. I know by not playing them I am missing out on so many good games!

Maniac Mansion kept me busy for days! I will never forget that game to this day! I would kind of like to see the angry video game nerd review that one! Going to look at the pawn shop for that one this weekend!

I remember renting video games that refused to play and having to take them all the way back to the store. That killed your weekend as a kid! Later I actually discovered a cleaning cartridge and my weekends were peaceful again! Nice post on the video. Watched a ton of NES vids and never saw this one!

I agree 32x was less popular than sega CD I remember my friend growing up buying a 32x sega cd and a virtual boy all at a KB toys store for practically nothing. I still love the star wars game on the 32x Virtual boy wasn't as bad as people say. Yeah it was hard on the eyes but had Nintendo backed it with more games as fun as Wario Land it would have been way better. That and not market it as a portable so much. Wish there was some good homebrew for that!

We didn't have alot of money growing up but I for sure remember Christmas 1990 getting my NES! A little late to the game but it was so awesome!

I wish I had kept all my old consoles over the years! I currently own n64 nes wii ps3 ps1 ds gba toaster size game boy psp qnd my macbook lol I sold last year my dreamcast saturn and a ps2. Never think you are over retro gaming because you aren't! lol. I plan to buy another dreamcast saturn snes game gear and a virtual boy just not sure when
