Tricks of the Trade: Top Tricks - The best codes ever printed for the best games of the 16- and 32-bit eras make an encore appearance in this special feature. Departments: Insert Coin: Let the Games Begin...! - The EGM2 editorial force descends upon E3 with a vengeance. None emerged unscathed. Gamers' Forum - Your chance to talk to the editors Interface - Letters to the Editor What If? - Bizarre scenarios and situations submitted by readers. Trash Talk - Need a little help dishing out the insults? Try some of these reader-submitted pieces of tactical abuse. Q&A - The monthly feedback column. EGM2 asks, you get to answer. Letter Art - People draw things on envelopes. Top of the World - Readers and editors weigh in on their top games, arcade titles, pinball tables, and more. High Scores - Beat the editors and win cool prizes. This month's challenge: land more than 165 hits on the Corneria stage in StarFox 64. Game Over - Spoiling the dickens out of Wild Arms by revealing the ending. What's Next? - New issues of EGM and EGM2 are only a few weeks away, and with them come coverage of Tomb Raider II, Final Fantasy VII, GoldenEye: 007, and so much more. VideoGameSpot.com BRE Software Win the Ultimate Gaming Rig contest Tommo, Inc. Herc's Adventures (PS1/SAT) Mega Man 8 (PS1) Notable Stuff: The cover art shown for Fighting Force and Tomb Raider II in the Eidos Games ad is preliminary, and was changed for the final releases. The dominatrix-themed ad for Deathtrap Dungeon shown in this issue (and several other magazines of the period) resulted in a huge outcry from parents for sexually-suggestive imagery in a magazine aimed mostly at children and teenagers. The Clock Tower ad is designed to look like an actual review on first glance. From Software did a similar sneaky thing with its King's Field ads. The art guy forgot to make the white background of the Dracula artwork for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on page 91 transparent. Because of this, it completely wipes out a chunk of three different screenshots, as well as the words 'The Night' in the game's title. Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi is one of the "Big 15" games of E3. By the time it comes out, it will be reviled as one of the worst Star Wars games ever created by every reviewer of the day, save for GamePro's Scary Larry.
