Why isn't Game Informer issues able to be uploaded?

I know there is a rule about Game Informer not being uploaded to the site, but I have no clue why. I tried searching and I couldn't find the answer. I love having access to old gaming magazines, and this site has been invaluable to reliving childhood memories, along with finding information hidden in old magazines for research as well. Game Informer was one of my favorites and a really big gaming magazine as well, but it's basically not talked about at all here.

Anyways, simple question, why exactly is Game Informer considered "Not Allowed" and if its just a fact of "it's still in print", old issues from decades ago should be allowed to be uploaded since there is zero way to find classic magazines from it at this point. I remember the Borderlands issue before it went to the Cell Shaded graphics and it would be cool to go look at those articles again.

It's not because it's still in print. They asked/told us directly not to make their content available on their site. Anytime a content owner asks us not to make their stuff available we respect that.

We're just glad they're the only ones who have contacted us.
