Naki GameSaver + (December, 1995)

Areala

The GameSaver + is a fun little piece of hardware that adds save state capabilities to any cartridge game, for as long as the GameSaver + is powered via the SNES AC adapter (it has its own short passthrough wire to connect to the AC port on the SNES deck). These are accessed by a special series of button presses on the SNES controller, allowing you to reload a state and start playing from that point. The cartridge port also allows you to play Japanese NTSC games on a North American NTSC system, making it handy for import enthusiasts. This function can be used even if the GameSaver + isn't powered; the AC plug is only needed if you want to save game states. A fun little piece of tech from back in the day!
