Helping Uploading Some Magazines

Hello.

I wanna help. I don't have scan in my house right now, but I wonder if I can help uploading some magazines that I have in my HD and don't appear in the Download Section.

For example I upload Official Sega Saturn Magazine nº 034 - aug 1998 . The scan is not mine, I found it in internet. I hope you can add your download database.

We appreciate any and all help that our great members can give but we unfortunately cannot accept scans that you didn't do yourself.  It is a delicate situation we are in here already with many publishers and to take scans from other sites would just add another bit of trouble for us (and go against our requests that others please don't take our scans and pass them off as yours).

So... how can I help editing or index the contents of magazines on the wiki?

You aren't disturbing us at all, Helper. Welcome to the forums! :)

Editing and indexing in the wiki is so simple that even I can do it, which is a good thing. Basically, all you do is go through a magazine that you have at home or that you have downloaded from the site, go to the relevant page on our Wiki, and edit the page to include information on the games that are inside. Here are some samples so that you can see how people have done it already, and then use those as a template for your own work:

Game Informer #72

Nintendo Power #1

EGM #1

PSM #1

You will need to create an account at the Wiki before you are allowed to edit articles. Please use the same name at the Wiki that you use here at the forums, because it makes it easier for us to keep track of your work and credit you for it. And that's about it, really. If you have more questions, feel free to ask them. :)
