Notable Stuff:

  • This issue comes with a free Resident Evil lid sticker. Braaaaaaains...!
  • Sony's support of the Dual Analog (and later DualShock) is the perfect example of how a peripheral released later in the life of a game console can receive universal support, and should be a textbook case study for anyone in charge of designing add-on gaming hardware for any system.
  • Metrowerks was quick to make a version of Code Warrior available for the Net Yaroze console.
  • Apparently there was a Playstation modem in development at one point, but Sony killed it. Link Cable only, beeyotch!
  • You really can't go wrong with much of anything developed by Black Ops studios.
  • Fantastic Four gets a whopping 1/2 out of 5. OUCH!
  • All three games in their 'Flashback' review section rate worse now than they did at the time of their release.
  • Machine Hunter was scored 4/5 last issue, but 5/5 in the 'Backlog' section.
  • Likewise, Sentient was scored 3.5/5 last issue, but 2.5/5 in the 'Backlog' section.
  • And for some reason, Twisted Metal 2 went from a 4.5/5 last issue to a 3.5/5 in this issue's 'Backlog' section.
  • Nikki's wearing a LOT less clothing than she was in the original Pandemonium...
  • Hardwood Heroes is actually a basketball game, despite what the title may lead you to believe.
  • The guide for Clock Tower mentions a "Buyobubyo" mode. This should be "Buyo Buyo" mode, which causes the various characters in the game to randomly and constantly stretch and deform, but despite what the guide says, it was removed for the final US version.
  • The preview artwork for the Resident Evil 2 feature teased for next issue is actually using art assets from what is now called Resident Evil 1.5, with Eliza in her biker outfit.
  • Thanks 1
