  2. Nearly finished editing the last magazine. I should have it ready within a day or so. Originally that was all I had planned on scanning, but I happened to come across a guy selling three older issues on Kijiji, so I figured, why not? So once I'm done with the last '04 mag I'll work on these: December 2001 (Unfortunately one page near the back has a big chunk torn out of it, but the bulk of the magazine is in good shape) April and July 2002 I may also have a few strategy guide covers I can scan, but otherwise that'll be it for the foreseeable future. Update May 6th: Aaaaaand done! Hope everyone enjoys the issues. TG may not have been the greatest magazine, but it still holds a nostalgic place in my heart. As I said above that's all I plan on doing right now. I won't rule out scanning something else in the future but for now I'm going to take a breather (I'll still pop by to see what's new every now and again).

  6. Bought an Analogue Pocket back in December when preorders opened up. Sadly I wasn't fast enough for the Q1 shipping date and have to wait until Q4 (at least it's better than next year).

  10. Yeah it was free, and like The Computer Paper was also published by Canada Computer Paper. I used to pick one up whenever my parents would drive my brother and I to Blockbuster, and I live a few hours north of Toronto. Circulation was "150,000, including Blockbuster, and other locations across Canada", so I imagine it must have had at least some distribution outside of Ontario. I've no clue as to exactly how much, of course.
  11. Just finished scanning my issues of Total Gamer (the Canadian magazine, not to be confused with the Australian one). I don't think this magazine has ever been scanned from what I can tell. Nothing shows up for it on archive.org or Google/Bing Image Search anyway. It'll take me a while to get them cleaned up and ready to upload, but thankfully they're all pretty thin; only 16 to 24 pages each, including covers. Issues (no actual issue number, so they're organised by date): December 2003 March 2004 May 2004 July 2004 October 2004 November 2004 December 2004
  12. There's not a whole lot of information available about this magazine, but I managed to dig up a bit of info from archive.org. I hope this is enough. https://www.ignboards.com/threads/why-there-arent-any-national-canadian-gaming-mags.162715735/ https://web.archive.org/web/20031003175143/http://www.totalgamer.ca:80/corporate/default.asp https://web.archive.org/web/20021204005857/http://www.canadacomputes.com:80/mediakit2003/HTMLpages/totalGamer/default.htm https://web.archive.org/web/20030913125612/http://totalgamer.ca/images/top_story/TG_sub_form.pdf I couldn't find any information about the total number of issues, and it seems that, with a few exceptions, TG didn't number their issues at all (I have seven issues and none of them are numbered). From the PDF above the cover of October 2001 is labeled "[...]me 1 Issue 2" so I'm guessing the first issue was released the month before, which would make the total number of issues 52 at most (assuming a monthly release from Sep. 2001 to Dec. 2005; couldn't find a definitive end-point).
