  1. Yeah my first SNES was bundled with LttP.. Such a great game.. Even with the Nintendo players guide it took me quite a while to beat it.. I've been thinking about going back and playing it again when I get some time off soon.
  2. I remember renting this game, and returning it the next day lol... Didn't care for it that much... Thought the box looked cool though.
  3. Wow that sucks.... This why when i actually follow a fan made game project i tend to get leery that it will ever get finished due to the original publisher shutting it down... I've been following one project for 3 years now..So something like this happening has crossed my mind..
  4. Yeah man 1 and 2 are great games, but 4, 5, and 6, while good games they had a tendency to get stale with the same type game engine, if you've played one mega man game on the NES you've played them all. Granted there where some cool additions too the series with those games i.e. The Mega Buster, The Jet Pack....Even with that being said I'd still recommend playing them all..
  5. Honestly I consider this the best of the Mega Man sequels even though the mega buster has yet to debut its pretty innovative in the series(the ability to slide and Rush).. Loved the title screen and stage select music! Besides, Shadow Man kicked a**, or sucked a** however you wanna look at it... damn good game!
  6. First Mega Man game I ever played... Being 7 years old at the time (Wow its been 20 years since then..) this game was pretty difficult... Four words: THOSE DAMN FORCE BEAMS!!!!!!! I love how on the cover it looks like Mega Man is just some random dude in a blue spandex suit wearing a motor cycle helmet lol.. Overall awesome game if i must say so.
  7. Did I.... Did I just drop acid? Dude that was flipping crazy.... flippin crazy as in awesome!
  8. It was pretty cool when you had such a hard time on a video game, and you went out and bought a magazine hoping to find some info on it, or a eh em a cheat code.. I always loved to get Nintendo players guides for certain games I was having trouble with..Now with that new fangled Internet and all its FAQs and walkthroughs..youngsters these days just don't know how good they have it..
  9. Yeah I really enjoyed the Adventure of Link as well.. Cool to see I'm not the only one.. I never really understood why it is considered the "black sheep" of the Zelda series.. I mean granted yes it was drastically different than the Legend of Zelda, but that's beauty of it. It was different.. I actually just finished Majora's Mask for the First time... that game is insane
  10. You guys are doing some great work here... I cant even imagine how much time and dedication its taken over the years to create a site like this.... And the fact that a lot of it requires not only sacrificing time but also your personal magazines(granted i understand a lot of these mags are bought off of eBay and else where) i mean when i read the FAQ on how you actually put the magazines up on here what with box cutters and the debinding my reaction was "Wow these guys are pretty hardcore" Thanks guys! hope to be an active member for a long time to come!
  11. Wow this place is amazing. Im glad there are people out there dedicated to something like this.. These old magazines bring back alot of memories! keep up the good work guys!
