  1. I'm halfway thru Dr. Wily's castle in MM4 and - wow - I'm impressed. Give this homebrew a try if you enjoy old-school Mega Man games - I don't think you'll be disappointed. Lots of replayability added to MM4. Works on actual hardware too. Developer Woodfrog has knocked it outta the park. Find it here. I'm looking forward to MM5, 6, and hopefully some kind of Wily Tower style extras.

  4. So, I was looking up some old game magazines here since most of mine are in storage. I noticed that there is a good selection of PS Extreme magazine but it only has the first issue and the ps2 buyers guide as covers for PSE2 after it rebranded and reset the numbering. Going back through the covers for PSE though I saw a DaVinci Code cover from 2006. I realized I had an issue from 2005 when Shaolin monks was being released. So, there were almost 5 complete volumes of PS Extreme (12 issue volumes with the 5th being only 10 before the rebrand). 4 mostly complete volumes of PSE2 I can find references to and I speculate 7 issues of a fifth unless there was a break before rebranding again. Then it switched to PSE Magazine of which the cover on Retromags is the first issue of a second volume. I know the 05 Shaolin Monks issues and then I saw a batch of lower res images for a magazine lot being auctioned with a Prince of Persia Two Thrones cover which would seem to put it in volume 1 somewhere in 2005. So my question would be, does anybody have any further information on the gap before the second rebranding or have any further information about how many volumes or issues the PSE Magazine run had? Definitely seems like the ends of some runs on here might need to be further researched.
