Screwattack Europe did a good video on the rise and decline of the anthropomorphic animal mascot games. Some were good like sparkster and other were lame like bubsy.

I'm not exactly a new member, but a returning one. I didn't see a returning member thread, so I guess I'll post here. that okay? anyway, I came back to retromags because I was playing the original legend of zelda, and needed a map. I found one, but then started to browse through all the old mags and started to feel nostalgic. so, here i am! (again)

I really hope the characters are more traditional like in II and the alphas. some of the characters in III were just too supernatural/weird. It was almost like playing darkstalkers.

its nice that they are free and all, but they look strange. Still, I can't say no to something that's free, so i guess i'll order some as well.

For me Castlevania has always had great music. I have a lot of Castlevania and Mega Man tracks on my ipod.

Hi everyone. I'm Tron. Right now i'm just a college student majoring in Asian Studies. I found this site through digg and i decided to join.

I played up to the part where you get the Earth Crystal/Orb in Final Fantasy I on the NES. But the magic system, saving system, etc were just too primitive for me to continue. and the fact that all you got was a text screen for the ending wasn't enough for me to continue. But I did play all the way through Final Fantasy I on the psp. MP for my Black mage was a lot better than the stupid charges.
