  2. Right on time with the new remaster right around the corner. You can play the original version too, so this guide is very useful. As long as this "unoffical" guide isn't plagued with mistakes. Oops, I forgot to ad one of my classic stories from back then: I actually bought the original PS1 version at a GameStop for $90. It was USED, and it was "resurfaced" -- they used a GameDoctor on it, which removed a very thin layer of the CD in the hopes of essentially removing scratches. I was hesitant to buy it, but it was VERY hard to find a copy of the game at this time, and they guaranteed it would work. Two months later, Sony actually reissued the game with the Greatest Hits banner. You could now buy a copy of the game for $20. I believed I screamed for about two hours straight.

  9. Just finishing up, one of your magazine sent. It should be posted soon. Thanks again @Rando1975!
  10. Must’ve been a pain having to clean the rollers after every page or so. My hat’s off to you!
  11. Let me bunch these together to make it simple. Thanks for the donations @CIVICMINDED and @E-Day for the scanning and editing for Jade Cocoon, Kagero II, Nightmare Creatures, and Ninja Shadow of Darkness (there are others, but all of these appear close to each other in Prima's guides). I don't think these would normally be popular downloads in the long run, but they are the games I couldn't afford to buy when they first came out because I bought other stuff. But years later these are the games I wanted to pick up the most, and having the guides is so much fun. For me, having these guides means more than having another copy of a guide for a new Zelda or Mario game. Not many stop to scan these smaller or more insignificant RPGs and action games, but I thank you for these. Now all I need is a cold Pepsi and hopefully Banquet still makes their crispy fried chicken meal (the 12-peice box) and then I'll be all set for a retro evening of gaming.
  12. Thanks for this. I remember playing the multiplayer just enough to unlock John Woo himself as a playable character. I played a couple of matches with my new unlocked character -- but even then, there was only two real people playing online per match. That was the last time I played it. You don't really need a guide, but sometimes you need to blow up something specific, so it does help. I always loved Chow Yun-Fat in action movies but after The Replacement Killers he didn't really use guns much after that. (besides The Corruptor, but Bulletproof Monk was garbage).
  13. Thanks for preserving this, @Areala. With the new Heretic + Hexen release from Nightdive Studios this month, you should see a HUGE uptick in downloads for this. Like, a good 12 or 20 more than usual. Including me. I never was big on either of these, but with a new release, even for consoles, I figured why not try them. Heretic 2 and Hexen 2 might be next, but Nightdive wanted to preserve the originals first.

  15. I picked up two more strategy guides, which will eventually get sent to dablais for scanning. Both from Bradygames. Final Fantasy (PSP version) Final Fantasy VIII
  16. How do I put this in my cart? I don't see a "Buy it Now" button, and I can't swipe my credit card anywhere. [thanks for the pic to the guide] Where am I? What's my age again?
  17. aahhhh, 4800x2400 dpi, 13"x19" - damn. It seems $300-380. Thats not as bad as I thought, but a little out there for me right now. Thanks, at least I have a basic idea of $300 at Walmart for something that looks decent.
