  1. I don't know but I found this http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/Dave/C/node27.html
  2. Here is some good news this site is about to carry Enter Magazine. E-Day had recently agreed to post them on this site. Why is this such BIG news. Enter was a rather unique publication for it's time. Not only did it carry news and reviews of then current console games but computer games and software and hardware as well. The interview with David Crane should of interest to you fans of his. The article is remarkable as it goes in to detail unseen in any other publication period. As well as showing a brand new bit of tech back then....The CD Player. Then there are the programs in BASIC most were created by kids. Some are amazing, keep in mind they are in BASIC but some are very close to some classic games I could mention. I swear any fan of that era will find ever issue remarkable, you will find some stuff you frankly never heard of before. Keep in mind Enter was published between 1983 to 1985 right in the midst of the collapse of the video game and home computer market.
  3. Any way you know that Game Pro is up. Right now I am scanning later issues of EGM ones printed after this site's cut off date. Beyond that I have been warned not to say anything else.
  4. I admit I am not a fan of the original film but Tron Legacy looks GREAT!!!
  5. Your the expert here is there any way to improve resolution?
  6. I fully admit I have quite a few low res scans in fact that is why I have not submitted quite of bit of stuff I have including Enter Magazine (and btw I have every single issue scanned). Then yesterday after a Google search I discovered that GIMP can improve resolution. In fact I did a test yesterday on an image I download sometime ago and what can I say it worked. But here is the reason for this post, we all know the least the pixel width of any submission has to be at least 1280 and we all know increasing the pixel width of any low res image can lead to a blurry image. I just want to know is it possible to turn a low res image to a high res one using GIMP and if so what should I set the X,Y resolution to?
  7. That only refers to size of the preview EGMs are over 200 megs
  8. With Halloween coming up, I thought I throw this one out what is your favorite Horror film. Mine since I like comedy over Horror is Saturday the 14th
  9. Am going to submit what I say is is the best guide to Myst ever made tomorrow, upload speeds on Sunday can be a bit tricky for my connection. Next issue I am going to scan is Game Pro 118 May 1999 tomorrow
  10. But still it took nearly 4 1/2 hours to upload EGM 53 to Dropbox. That's on top of nearly a month of work scaling the scans, and cleaning them up when needed. Next item on the scanner is Myst Player's Guide full color with all the solutions, I start on that tomorrow
  11. There is in a weird way ever heard of http://www.archive.org/ in a addition to a store place for more things than I could mention. They also store web sites all you have to do is use there way back machine by simply entering it's web address.
  12. If anyone cares you now can download GamePro Dec 1990 as 1 single CBR file. It took about 3 hours for me but I finally got it uploaded to Dropbox, I am planning to do this for all submissions 200MB+ .
  13. Update so I decided to edit this post instead of adding a new one. Since I had no offers and I can't blame anyone. It was Mister Zero here who told me about dropbox.com which is yet another host site I never heard of before, it seems they have no file limit and as long as you keep your account active they will host your file. I will be using that for my larger files very soon. The 1st one I'll correct is Game Pro Dec 1990 soon it will be 1 very large cbr file.
  14. Just submitted Atari Lynx catalog from 1992 it says it's Volume 3 and has Batman on the cover. BTW this one is not even available on the Atari Age site for some reason. Due to scan size I am going to resubmit Sega Visions 25 as a PDF file I am planning on submitting EGM issue 53 (I made a mistake earlier when I said 54, which as I recently found out that issue hasn't been scanned just yet) I have to rescale the pages before I submit them, but I do need someones help as I just can't get them straight. Due to a fold out ad on the front cover no less. I need someone here to help me paste 2 or more scans together. It may seem like a simple task but I can't do it. I just can't get them straight. Game Pro May 1999 is sitting on a table right next to me, as soon as I get Monty Python's Big Red Book scanned I am going to work on it.

  16. The rest of you can download them now. It seems my girlfriend nearly destroyed everything yesterday. From messing up the links to the stuff I uploaded here to other things that I hope don't get me kicked off of a few forums I also belong to. Right now everything I hope is corrected and E-Day I'll get back to you asap. I have more stuff to correct and that is the reason way. Thankfully my computer did not pick up any viruses, and let me say she isn't my girlfriend any more. What a way to get dumped.
  17. Just submitted Sega Visions issue 25 as it turns out I had a free program that fixed all the problems and it's called Picasa. That straightening out tool it has is amazing and not to forget very simple to use

  18. Okay I have been checking this site out and the one thing that honestly surprises me is the more junk I scanned over the years that same stuff isn't here. Namely the stuff added yesterday to the promotional and flyers section and btw I have more things I am going to add. Including this Tower of Druga tip guide I got with one of my Namco Museum discs. It was honestly included. Yet another thing which I still need to add and rescan due to pixel size is the original Garfield Caught in the Act comic book that came with the original Genesis game. The reason most of that stuff is already scanned is because I scanned it sometime back. I am almost done with the Sega Vision another 28 pages to go. I have EGM 54 Jan 1994 scanned I just need to reduce the pixel size and submit that as well. Meanwhile 53 is still in the need to do pile, like my Disney News, newer Game Pros and a few books.
  19. Hold on to your socks!!! I just found my old Discworld Official Strategy Guide Prima 1995 (another one not listed) Inside it is a list of guides as soon as I copy then out I will post that list here as most of them aren't on the list either.
  20. On Inside Edition yesterday they showed videos of Segway accidents. It turns out they are more common than you think.
  21. I know there isn't anything funny about someone dying but in all honesty the Segway owner dying in a Segway accident...
  22. Surprise surprise!!! I discovered an issue of Sega Visions that they did not have here and btw it's the very last one issue Twenty Five. All I really need to do is straighten one page and crop the rest. I scanned it sometime ago. I hope to submit this early next week there is 98 pages after all.
