Thank you TheRedEye for donating this. I was never into PC games back then, but someone game me this magazine because I kept looking through it so much. I've looked through this mag probably 20+ times back then -- I was fascinated with a whole world of gaming that I thought I could never play because my computer wasn't fast enough. All these articles bring back memories, so thank you, MigJmz for taking the time to edit this one.
Thanks E-Day! I have been really enjoying these new scans that have been coming out on a regular basis for GamePro. There was a time when 60-100MB was a standard size for these magazines 10-15 years ago, and it was a good quality for the time. But I love any newer scans that have been 250MB or 300+MB immensely. I dont know about all the technical stuff, but the quality is so much improved, and you can zoom in without much loss of detail. It's great and I appreciate the time it takes to scan, trim, align, and then compress each page (from what I understand of the process, but there's probably more to it). It make a great way to enjoy these 10 years from now.
Thank you for this. I remember finding this mag in an airport when going home for Christmas while in the military. I was so starved for video game stuff I would buy every vg magazine on the rack at time. I ran into several mags that I NEVER saw again, so they might have not lasted long, but its fun reliving them because they were all I had at the time.
