  1. Poo. I thought I wrote 15. Edit: Fixed, as well as a couple of typos
  2. The FAQ page has been updated to reflect our rolling cut-off date, as well as to provide information about Patron status and links to more info about it as well as a link to the store.
  3. Every magazine is like that. I never got an answer to why the cover month was ahead of the actual month. When I was subscribed to Maximum PC not long ago, I would often get an issue over a month before it's month. I would get the December issue the last week of October. For your purpose, you can just do what magazines do when looking back and use the cover date. I don't think anyone is going to complain, or even remember that that May issue of EGM was written in February and on newsstands at the end of March
  4. https://www.retromags.com/faq/ has some info on helping the site. Some of it is outdated, but some is still useful. And the guides are gone again, but those were all about how to scan and edit a magazine. Some parts of those are outdated again because of the software upgrade. I am almost tempted to make the guides PDFs or Word documents that can be downloaded because every time something on this site changes, the guides end up breaking.
  5. There is always something to be done on this site, but I don't think there is a list somewhere to keep track of those things. So in order to hopefully keep better track of things that need to be done on the, this topic will list outstanding issues/fixes/changes, so that it's easy to find. Anyone can suggest things below, and valid ones will be added to this post. As things are fixed, they'll be crossed off. Similar to the post in the magazine section for issues with scans. So far we have: Fix the Tips & Tricks magazine database (Phillyman!!) Update the FAQ page Update and restore the scanning guides Fix the Retromags News section so topics are not closed automatically Fix the database page credits to allow multiple names (currently only the creator of the entry is credited - anyone who edits the entry with new information gets no credit) Create newbie-friendly guides not just for scanning/editing, but for ALL forms of contributions (data entry/cover images/donations) & link them in the FAQ Fix the sort order in the galleries to sort in "caption" order Fix image uploader so it doesn't add strings of gibberish to the title of any filename that has spaces in it (this may be fixed in the upcoming image uploader upgrade?) Got something else? Post it below!
  6. I currently support Nintendo Force and Retro. I was excited about the last issue of Retro when I found out it was full of interviews. That is, until I got the issue and saw that is was just the same almost all the questions emailed to everyone featured in the issue. I was hoping for more actual interviews where there is back and forth discussion based on the answers given. I was also ready to support Little Gamer (or whatever it was called), but at the time they were not able to ship to Canada.
  7. Ziff-Davis has nothing to do with the magazine anymore.
