  4. I have a modification in place that closes topics that have had no activity in 90 days. So your posting gives the "shy" people on the forums a place to comment when they are not comfortable starting a topic of their own

  13. Yeah I have a body fat meter and am using it.....just in case I lose 1lb of fat and gain 1lbs of muscle the same week.
  14. Yeah I know that I am losing too quickly, but I have only made minor changes. Drink Just Water No Fast Food No Candy/Cake/Pie Bowl of Cereal for Breakfast Eat a 6 inch Subway Sandwich for Lunch Normal Dinner Gym Workout 3x per week (20 minutes of Cardio + 20 minutes of Weight Lifting) Walking 7.5 Miles Per week BMI states that for my height, I should be between 140-175lbs. Hell if I can see myself getting to that weight, but I want to drop from 258lbs to 200lbs. I figure most of this weight loss these past few weeks has been water weight. I expect I have another 2 weeks to lose at this rate before it slows down itself.
  15. Some fool has taken the Retromags scans and is trying to sell them on Ebay. We ask anyone with an Ebay account to please take 1 minute and file a report against this person. Retromags DOES NOT CONDONE the selling of magazines! We provide Rapidshare links to any magazines we scan, and ENCOURAGE our members to spread our releases FREELY on the internet with only the stipulation that the files are unchanged. What does unchanged mean? It means you should not be lowering the quality, removing the thank you page..etc. We are a preservation project, we only wish to see these magazines put into a format that will not degrade over time. Many of our members own the physical copies of these magazines, we provide electronic versions so that they do not further damage their existing copies. If you have an Ebay account, Please take the time to file a complaint against this and any other person you see SELLING scans of magazines on Ebay. 16. Thank you for contributing to our ever growing collection. I have added your WIP thread to the Master list that is stickied in this section.
  17. So its almost time for me to turn 30 years old, this milestone will happen on July 31st. My 20's have been gluttonous.....every month since I graduated Highscool, I have put on a half a pound. I refuse to live my 30's the same way, so I set out to drop 15lbs before my 30th B-day. I started this on June 3rd and so far have lost 8-10lbs. I have another 5-7lbs to knock off before July 31st and needed some motivation. Yes I have been losing at a good rate, but I know that it will not keep up. Most of my weight loss has come from cutting out soda, iced tea and iced coffee from my diet. I also cut out all fast food and have started going to the gym. So today I wanted some motivation, I do better with visuals than anything else.....so I googled "What a pound of fat looks like". I always knew that a pound of fat took up more space than a pound of muscle, but I had no idea that a pound of fat was this big. What a pound of fat looks like http://yfrog.com/0d061204fat3j Where you can buy your own fake pound of fat http://www.mypetfat.com/thetools.asp

  19. As you may have noticed, Retromags has added the following button around this site. These buttons will allow you to easily spread the word about our work here at Retromags. When you place your mouse over these buttons they will show you all the different ways to spread the word. Any services that it can determine you are already signed up for will show up in bold. Retromags does not have a budget to go out and promote ourselves, so we depend on our users to get the word out about the work we do. The button above can be found on our homepage, topics, downloads and wiki,....feel free to ask any questions about this new change in this topic
  20. Exactly, I was a bidder on that auction also. I know that BillMarioMan paid around $67 for this issue about 5 months ago.....I got it off him for $65. After I scan this magazine I will relist it on ebay for $0.99 and let it sell. I have been searching Ebay for years, I cant even remember seeing the first issue of Game Informer in those years. As long as I can get at least $40 out of reselling.....I will be happy
  21. Thats right, Retromags adds yet another "#1" to our collection. We proudly acquired the very first issue of Game Informer from 1991 yesterday. Its asking price was $99, but through careful negotiations we got it for $65.50. To date Retromags has scanned or acquired these #1 issues.... Ahoy!
