  2. I don´t think I have ten SNES games that I enjoyed enough to compile a top ten, so here´re the ones I can think of. 1. Super Mario World (the peak of the Mario games in my opinion) 2. Super Mario All Stars (if that counts as a SNES game) 3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 4. F-Zero Man, I really need to get myself more SNES games.
  3. 1. Tomb Raider II (watches Sarahs head explode from the surprise) 2. Tomb Raider The Last Revelation 3. Final Fantasy VIII 4. Final Fantasy VII 5. Resident Evil 2 6. Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix 7. Silent Hill 8. Oddworld Abes Oddyssee 9. Oddworld Abes Exoddus 10. G-Police Mind you, some of those games I originally played the PC versions of, though I got the PlayStation versions of some of them once the PC started acting up.
  4. I´m very disappointed in this entry: it´s tagged "hot lesbian action", but where is it? WHERE???
  5. Or you could call it "Lesbians Against Bozos In Administration" or L.A.B.I.A for short. What?
  6. I´m planning to spend my holiday bonus on a 3DS, but I´ll wait until more of the games I want have been released, so far only Ridge Racer 3D has been released, I´ll wait for DOA Dimensions and RE Revelations to come out before I´ll buy one.
  7. The three TR games by Crystal Dynamics were recently re-released as HD versions for the PS3, but I already have them for the XBox360, so I´m wondering, are the PS3 versions in some way superior (such as in terms of graphics) to the XBox360 versions, or are they just the same games converted to the PS3?
  8. The Ballad of G.I. Joe from Olivia Wilde
  9. First there was "Mortal Kombat vs. DC", and now: Mortal Kombat vs. NHL.
  10. The Super Mario series Silent Hill series Tomb Raider Legend of Zelda series Metal Gear Solid Metroid series Final Fantasy series Sonic the Hedgehog
  11. Why does she need someone to rescue her anyway?
  12. If you´ve ever wondered what the Mushroom Kingdom princess looked like underneath that large dress, well, wonder no more. And if you´ve wondered what the deal is with her and princess Daisy, that question too has been answered. But she´s not the only videogame character to have surrendered to the power of the Dyke Side, Serah too has been struck by Lightning: And Tifa and Aeris have finally had enough... I´m guessing Sarah approves.
  13. An update: the netbook was searching for a network during boot, once I switched that off in the system start menu, it took a couple of reboots for the netbook to start a system repair, and it has since booted properly until today, when it had gone on standby, and when I tried switching it back on, there was a blue error screen, and I had to wait for it to reboot, during which I had to pick the "delete restoration data" option in order to get the netbook to reboot properly. Now I´ve ordered a 32 gig USB drive, so that I´ll at least be able to do a backup of the computers files.
  14. I have an Acer netbook that's only a couple of months old, yesterday I awoke from a nap to see that it had evidently rebooted itself (as it does when it's downloaded a Windows update), but this message was on the screen: Client mac addr: 0026 22 87 F5 A9 guid: 4BF7DD2A-0AD9-6159-AEDA-00262287F5A9 PXE-E53 no boot filename received And then it asks me to insert a boot disk and press any key. I don't have a bootdisk, or a disc drive. Two USB ports though. So what do I do to get my netbook to work again, all my files are on it.
  15. Another movieconundrum arises; the three Predator movies have been released as a Blu-Ray boxset, but I´m unsure whether the version of the first movie contained in the set is the original and, I´m told, horrible-looking first Blu-Ray release, or if it´s the much improved "Ultimate Hunters Edition" that was released later. The back of the trilogy box shows cover to the first release, but also lists various special features, something the first release didn´t have, but which the Ultimate Hunter´s Edition did. Anybody know which version is featured in the trilogy boxset?
  16. I found an online store that has a picture of the boxset along with pics of the individual titles, and the SFII edition shown there is the version containing both the US and Japanese version, though that doesn´t necessarily mean the versions shown are those actually found in the set, but it´s listed as being a 5-disc set, which would fit with the SFII disc being the 2-disc version; 2 discs for SFII, one disc for each SF Alpha movie, and the fifth disc for the digital comic that the set also contains. The boxset can be seen here: http://www.laserdisken.dk/html/visvare.dna?vare=12749636001014580
  17. Seeing DVD collections of the SF anime movies and TV series on sale, I´m thinking about picking them up, but I´m in doubt about the first movie; I know that the first SF movie has been released in various edited versions, and the DCD collection I´m looking at is a 4-disc se containing Street Fighter II the movie - Directors Cut and Street Fighter Alpha 1 and 2, so I´m wondering whether this discset contains the full, uncut version of the SFII movie, or if it´s just another edited version, anybody know? I´ve seen a UK edition of the SFII movie that contains both the UK cut and the original Japanese version, but it´s not called "Directors Cut".
  18. Areala is the name she used to post under at the old forum, and I know her computer is broken, so it sounds like it´s the same Areala we know.
  19. Here comes a new challenger! I am a 33 year old videogame addict from the small country of Denmark, after my previous videogame forum crashed, I was suggested by my old friend Sarah to give this site a try, so now I´m here. My gaming history goes back to the Eighties and the NES and Master System, back then I´d play on the demo models in stores, and the Amigas and Commodores belonging to my classmates, while daydreaming about getting my own computer or console someday, and buying and reading the Danish videogame magazines provided fuel for my daydreams, still have those issues. Anyway, I finally went and bought a Gameboy (but later sold it when I was low on cash, I regret it as it has nostalgic value for me) and later got a PC, and once I began working I spent the paychecks on getting new and old consoles, so my console collection today consists of a NES, a Super NES, a Sega Megadrive, a PlayStation2, an XBox (only works half the time), an XBox360, a Wii, a PS3, a DS and a PSP. I also had a GameCube, but sold it once I got a Wii, and I plan to get a 3DS when it´s released next year. My favorite game is Tomb Raider II, and all in all I´m a devotee of the Core Design TR games, but not the movies, comics or current franchise (yes, Sarah, this again.) My favorite non-Tomb Raider game is Super Mario World, and I´m currently looking forward to the Super Mario Bros Anniversary Collection, although it´s just a rerelease of Super Mario Allstars, which I used to own, but I´ve somehow gone and lost my copy, so the new Wii release, with its soundtrack cd, should fill the gap nicely, although I already have the original NES versions of SMB 1 and 3. I´ll be sure to check the old videogame magazines out, I get a nostalgic kick out of reading the game magazines from my time as a daydreaming gamer, back when everything was pixels rather than polygons, and videogame music was catchy and annoying at the same time. Now to see if I can find out what Sarah calls herself in these forums...
