  1. That is really surprising considering the old MK games are unquestionably among the greatest video games ever made.
  2. Alright cool, then I'm in the clear to preserve all mine. Many are Prima guides and all are 90's era strategy guides. I have a big stack of them.
  3. I see we have restrictions on certain types of magazines, we're not allowed to preserve GameFan for example. Are there any such limitations on the Strategy Guides? Is Prima's allowed? Brady Games? etc etc ...I have several strategy guides that I'm interested in preserving and want to know what I'm allowed to preserve on this.

  14. Now editing: EGM MK2 magazine 3 of 4. Then when I'm done with that I will begin editing MK2 magazine 1 of 4 and 4 of 4 (unless EtherealDragonz is already editing those?). Then I'll go on to scanning magazine 2 of 4.
  15. I've scanned and edited an MK2 supplement that was included with Electronic Gaming Monthly issue #57 April 1994. It's the 1st of a 2 part supplement. The other one that goes with this is already in our database. I'm ready to have this submitted to the downloads section! Download it here
  16. I have the entire collection. Since you've already scanned #1 and I assume you're already underway scanning #4, I'll take care of 2 and 3. I already have #3 scanned and I just need to edit it. #2 remains to be scanned.
  17. I I bought Flux #1 when it first hit the shelves in the 90s. The MK2 interview was the only reason I bought it. It was the first announcement I had heard that MK2 was coming to home consoles, at the time I was a naive little kid not being sure if MK2 would ever come to home consoles so I was floored about the great news. And Flux was a great magazine that stood apart from the others. I did enjoy the interviews with game developers, comic book artists, and musicians. I really thought it was a cool magazine. Like one person said, it was so MTV.

  19. I've messaged you the download link! And I did the Sub-Zero spine rip fatality on Phillyman. Also, I don't know what issue of EGM the supplement came with since I bought it off ebay. Though I do remember seeing the supplement as a kid, I just don't remember the issue it came with. If anyone knows, please post the answer.
  20. I've scanned and edited the EGM Ultimate MK3 supplement, and I'm ready to submit it to the database. How do I do this?
  21. Some of the magazines we have preserved here have a constant width for every page, and other mags have a constant height for every page. So what is the standard to be used for this? Also have we agreed on a minimum width size so that the resolution is not too low?
  22. This pup hand scanner sounds interesting. I'm interested to know how well it works.
  23. So I'm curious, how many hours would you say you spend editing an entire magazine after scanning all the pages? It seems like editing takes days worth of hours. MkMoveList
