  1. Compared to what Nintendo did with Super Castlevania IV, Bloodlines was nothing. Judged by its own merits, however, Bloodlines was a very strong entry in the series, and well worth owning for any self-respecting Genesis groupie and Castlevania junkie. *huggles* Areala
  2. Parasite Eve is the most recent retro game I played through. Love that game... *huggles* Areala
  3. Just got myself a copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga for the PS2! *huggles* Areala
  4. I have no quarrel with GameStop. The one I frequent has a very nice staff that actually knows what the heck they are talking about, and have bent over backwards to find me something I've been looking for. Nobody has ever been rude to me there, and any time I have pre-ordered something that came with a little extra (access code, swag, etc...), they've had it waiting for me when I came in. So nothing to complain about here. *huggles* Areala
  5. Oh yeah, this was a total staple of my childhood years. Absolutely loved it. *huggles* Areala
  6. Given how nicely the PS3 will upscale a normal DVD, and given that half the films you named aren't available in high-def yet, Blu-Ray is really not all that wise of an investment in my book. Save yourself $15-20 per film, buy the DVDs instead, and put the money you save towards Fallout 3, Oblivion, Bioshock, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, inFAMOUS, Prototype, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance II, or any other PS3 title that you've been dying to play. *huggles* Areala
  7. No, not really. It isn't something I'm terribly proud of, because I don't believe in using violence to solve problems, but it's in the past now. I was at a party a number of years ago where a girl got a more than a little intoxicated and revealed to some of us that her boyfriend at the time hit her every so often. A couple hours later, she was in bed and asleep when said boyfriend, also more than a little intoxicated himself, strolled into the apartment demanding to know where she was because it was time for him to pick her up and take her back to his place. I said, rather more curtly than I should have since I do not drink, that he could drive his own drunken butt home, but he wasn't taking her with him. He, assuming correctly that she was in one of the bedrooms, started down the hallway, and I promptly got in his way and told him that the only way he was going to touch her again was to go through me first. He took it as an invitation, and by the time the police showed up (campus police respond very quickly to reports of people fighting on a Saturday night), the two of us were in the main apartment hallway, me holding my cheek and nose which got cut open and bloodied on his ring, and him holding his crotch and trying to catch his breath. Needless to say, the police took the attitude of "slap cuffs on everybody involved and get them down to the department for questioning while someone else takes witness stories" and so I wound up in the back of my very own squad car. When they found out why the whole stupid thing started, I was let go and got the "That guy was drunk and outweighed you by 50 pounds, what the hell were you thinking?" lecture, followed up by the "You have a lot of guts, and we're glad you didn't get seriously hurt" talk. A few weeks later, several of us who had been at the party showed up in court to testify against him, including his now ex-girlfriend, and he wound up doing some time. So there you have it, the whole stupid reason why Areala wound up cuffed in the back of a police car. No hippies involved. *huggles* Areala
  8. I think the Super NES pad is the most perfect gaming controller ever created, which is clearly why Sony ripped off the layout when they created their Playstation controller, and later the Dualshock. Sits comfortably in your hand, has six buttons, a super-responsive D-pad...yeah, I'm all about it. *huggles* Areala

  23. Mine does have the enemy data on it. There must have been a couple different posters that they released. Scanning it would be problematic in that I'd have to find it and I'm in the process of moving, so anything that is already boxed up is not being unboxed. *huggles* Areala
