  1. Can't say I know who he is. I don't think I've ever seen the Wizard of Oz.
  2. Then like I said consoles are already dead, because they are now multimedia devices. Consoles for playing games were dead when the PS1 came out since it could play music. If you watch the PS3 commercials Sony wants you to stop thinking of it as a game console.
  3. I guess the he would have to specify what he considers to be a console first.
  4. If it's like the GBA one I'm in. Very time consuming hahaha
  5. Dedicated consoles are already dead if you think about it. Xbox360, PS3 and Wii offer multiple entertainment forms not just games.
  6. That sounds interesting I'm a huge fan of the Ogre Battle games.
  7. Nes Hydlide - Made me think it was similar to The Legend Of Zelda, when it was just... crap. Snes Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Not a bad game but again I was tricked after playing Final Fantasy II. And that pissed me off. Sega Genesis Hard Drivin' - 3D graphics racing game! Slow as crap with only one track what a piece of... N64 Yoshi's Story - Wow awesome it looks like Super Mario World... yeah right -_- It's not really bad but I hate being tricked. Dreamcast Dragon Riders: Chronicles of Pern - I love the Pern books. So this game was a must get for me. Then I played it, wholy crap what a piece of... oh darn it broke... RESET. Ok maybe it's not that bad I'll just play again... it froze again... WTF. Playstation The Contra Adventure - Oh boy a new Contra game after the great Nes and Snes games it must be good, guess not :( I guess most of the games I hate are the ones that tricked me into thinking they were good or based on a good franchise. Bad games are just bad games, but bad games that make you think "wow" and do not deliver feel my rage.
  8. I was looking at those Profesor Layton games seemed interesting but wasn't sure about buying so...
  9. Agree it's not a bad addiction if it costs less than snacks. Right now I'm trying to cut back on unhealthy snacks and well games for a buck are my prize
  10. So right! I can still hum the Shadowgate and Dejavu music just by reading your post.
  11. Well I enjoy RPG and Strategy the most but sometimes I like breaks from these games and play simple things. The only games I do not like are sports games. I love Harvestmoon games but I'm trying to avoid games that do not end.
  12. Yup. I've gone through that a few times. I feel guilty about buying then say no more, then it repeats :( Somewhat like what Sega does to us with new Sonic games.
  13. I recently bought a DS and was wondering if you guys could recommend what games I should start with. I'm looking for games that I can actually finish, only the best of the best. Thanks.
  14. I think those games had pc versions and you can use the mouse with those
  15. Fences by Phoenix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o65yrPpqkg
  16. I would love to take my wife on a roadtrip like that. Awesome.
  17. Looks fun and different. Although a bit closer to the Snes version than the primes.
  18. Even at low prices when you look back at all the things you have bought, darn it's quite a bit of cash.
  19. The 9.99 price for those games is good compared to the N64 prices on the Virtual Console which is excesive.
  20. It should have a usb port so you can add a joypad if you wish. Now that would rock.
