  1. Honestly I don't think there is anyone here that even has that torrent anymore. The torrent your talking about was from when I had first joined this forum several years ago. You can now download the single issues by heading to the download section.

    Love the iPad

Originally I said I was not going to buy an iPad until the price was reduced but I'm glad that I didn't wait. I've loving this thing. I bought it on Saturday and I bought the keyboard and word processor today and that only has added to the coolness factor. This thing is like a cute little computer that does not keep me restrained to the keyboard. It's much more than just a large iPod. My biggest gripe is looking for new apps. Apple has not set up a very good system for searching for new games or apps. If I'm looking for a game that I might be interested I go to the apps store and select category (games) then it gives me a list of over 5,000 iPad exclusive games. From there there is no option to break it down by genre! I can search by date, popularity and something else. That is the most annoying thing about this fun toy. Other than that I really don't have any complaints except 16GB I don't think will be enough. I wanted the 32 but it was sold out. Then again I'm not using this thing for my music that is what my iPod or ZuneHD is for.
  3. Such horrid games :( I never bothered buying them. The funny thing was I couldn't wait for them to get released either but then after I played them I couldn't stand them. Something was just so different compared to the ones that Nintendo mae.
  4. That was great! Loved the cameo appearance
  5. Now I've not done this since I was in kindergarten, but I found a really cool looking caterpillar and decided since my daughter was in kindergarten that I would show her what happens when you cage the larva up. It's a Pipevine Swallowtail and was just a really cool looking caterpillar. Little did I know that it was a real-life Pokemon. Hopefully it's a male because they become a beautiful black and blue butterfly. I grabbed a picture to put on my facebook page but I thought I'd share it here as well. By darakutenshi at 2010-10-25
  6. You know as I've gotten older I've slowly and slowly notice that I really don't enjoy horror movies anymore. The only ones that I can enjoy anymore are Zombie flicks. I used to love Freddy or Jason and other slasher type movies but they are just so boring to me now. Saturday the 14th was a great movie and I've not seen it since the 80's and I'd love to see if it's still as good as I remember. So anyway I guess 28 Days Later is probably my favorite horror movie.
  7. I was playing Moonwalker over at my brothers house a few months ago and my daughter and nephew were watching me play. Now I've talked about Jackson to my daughter before (they are both about 5 years old each at this time) so I thought maybe by the way he was dressed and the way he danced that she would be able to figure it out so I said, "Hey who is this on the video game?" They both kind of just sat there. I then hinted, "Michael..." and the first thing out of my nephews mouth was "Medved!" That made my day.
  8. Awww man that's awful. Same thing happened to me years back (except for the server thing) I had my files backed up on an external HDD and both my external and my laptop drive crapped out on me within days of each other. So I feel your pain because that was when I was doing a lot of work on my card fighter project.
  9. Yeah, I miss the arcades dearly. I too remember the times of going in and dropping $50-$100 easy on an all day binge. Down here in San Antonio they have an awesome arcade called Dave and Busters which is basically a Chucky Cheese's clone but for adults only. They serve food but it's good food, real food! Things like shrimp, steak, burgers. And their arcade is immense.
  10. They should have left out that one and put someone in the game that was worth playing as.
  11. For me Ridge Racer is a big reason to get it at launch. Speaking of launch here is a small list of Japanese launch titles: * Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D from Nintendo * Nintendogs + Cats from Nintendo * Pilotwings Resort (working title) from Nintendo * Pro Baseball Spirits from Konami * Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle from Level 5 * Ridge Racer 3D from Namco Bandai * Samurai Warriors Chronicle from Tecmo Koei * Steel Diver from Nintendo * Super Monkey Ball (working title) from Sega * Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition from Capcom
  12. 100% Yes! I've already had the money set aside for a month or more now just waiting to pay it off on the reserve. I doubt by the time it hits US it will be $300 it will most likely be $249. That price is a conversion from Yen against current exchange rates which is not how they determine a price for other countries. Knowing Nintendo they will want to keep it as low as possible. Why would I buy it... well I'm a sucker for new technology and Nintendo products.
  13. Yeah I was a huge SFII fan back in the day and when Clay Fighter came out I loved that as well. By the time they got to 63 1/3 I think they went a little too far in the bad comedy but I loved the way it looked. Clay Fighter, Clay, Clay Fighter come on hit them if you dare!
  14. I've setup a blog to keep everyone updated on the status. http://ayce78.wordpress.com/
  15. That's kind of a neat project you have going on there. Yeah I'm one of those are not a fan of the movie. Though I am a fan of the horrid Street Fighter movie.
  16. Slowly at the moment due to other obligations. Right now I'm focusing on the overall design and trying to finish the mock-up. I've got enough scans and photos that I can start putting everything together but I really need to just sit down and finish the mock before I do anything more. I had to work on the cover and part of the inside of the book just to have something to show to people interested so they know that I can at least handle myself. That may be why I've not had very many people come forward to help get me scans because I had nothing to show for myself.
  17. Well since my Card Fighter Project had ended I've been looking for some large project to get my hands on. A couple weeks ago I came up with the idea to make a book, dedicated to the TG16 in the US. The basic gist will be: History on the TurboGrafx stateside along with all their American system and games, completely unbiased as to not give my opinions on the game. I will have a section for codes and a section specifically for collectors so they can make sure they have all they need and want. I would love to make some money off of this project and hopefully get blessings from Hudson Soft, but I'm not holding my breath. Even if this is released souly just to the interwebs as a PDF/CBR I will be happy with that. Recently I have been able to get a small team helping out with this (2 people besides me). The book when finished will be under 200 pgs but more than 150 (I don't have the full layout yet)and will be published by lulu.com (again unless it turns out that a publisher might be interested). If released on lulu I will keep the book at $0 profit just so the people who are interested can get it at the best price possible. Basically what I'm looking for is someone who enjoys writing and is good at it. Will be willing to do short writ-ups on the game, not reviews. And anyone who has TG16/CD games that would be willing to scan the manuals and HuCard/CDs for me. So far I've been buying as many games as I can just so that I can scan them because not many people are coming forward with the scans. If your interested please PM and I'll give you some more details. If you already have my email just drop me a letter and I'll follow up there. Here is the mock-up that I did today for the cover. The inner details have not been released to anyone but the team so far. This of course is a very low-res version of the WIP. By darakutenshi at 2010-09-18
  18. Well it did take a bit of getting used to but then I realized they do that so you can arrange it in just about anyway you need rather than having a it set the way the creator wants it to be. This is how mine is set up BTW. And it helps to have a widescreen monitor. By DarakuTenshi at 2010-09-18 Here is a picture I drew today using GIMP. By darakutenshi at 2010-09-18
  19. Yeah I'm with you... when it come to RE movies I saw the first and third at the theaters. I enjoyed those but I just bought 2nd and the CGI movie and hated both of those. I'm going to buy this one when it comes out but usually I don't enjoy spending $8-$14 for a movie so I wait till it hits Redbox. I am debating on going to Jackass... then again I'm going to be training to become a minister so maybe it's not the best idea to be going to a movie like that. Personally I think those movies are funny but being seen at a movie like that might raise some eyebrows.
  20. I used to use PSP until I learned about GIMP not only is it free but it's worlds better than PSP and right up there on par with PhotoShop.
  21. I didn't even know it was released yet.
  22. Well what this pastor does not seem to get is the teachings of the Bible it self. The main teaching from the Holy Bible is love. To quote the Bible here is a perfect example for the situation "Love your enemies and pray for those who prosecute you." and that would have come directly from Jesus' mouth.
