  1. Ok I know there are not very many Street Fighter IV fans here but I'm really excited about this one http://www.examiner.com/x-28759-Atlanta-Video-Game-News-Examiner~y2010m7d30-New-Super-Street-Fighter-IV-3D-screenshots-for-the-Nintendo-3DS
  2. I still don't know what to think about that one yet.
  3. I can't wait for a new Castlevania game... I've been playing all the old ones to fill that void.
  4. Yay I just won an auction for Dragon's Curse for the TurboGrafx-16 for only $15 which is about half what it usually goes for. I love this game so much I used to own it on the Master System and always wanted it for the TG16 but never got it. So I downloaded it for Wii when it came out and now I got this idea in my head to get the real game and boom found it cheap. As a bonus it's complete too well... except the cardboard box. It does have the jewel case and plastic game sleeve and instructions so that's what matters. got to love the artwork for the TG16 games.
  5. Yeah I like 7zip too but it's not widely used enough. The only time I really see 7z is in the gaming community. (yes I know we are a gaming community and don't use it though)
  6. After seeing this video I decided to download the game and sure enough it's a rip off just like their Castlevania rip-off Soul of Darkness. This CrystalMon game though has horrid controlling. You walk in one direction and decide to turn right so you slide you finger across the d-pad to go right. Your character stops for a second then starts moving again. What I've found is you can make a seamless turn but you can't slide your finger like you normally do when playing video games. You must let go of your direction and then press on the d-pad again in the next direction and then you can turn with out that second lag. That right there is a game killer! They did add some interesting game fight mechanics though such as combo attacks and being able to defend against attacks. The monsters are unimaginative like all the other Pokemon rip-offs that I've seen in the past. The touch screen navigation is down right nasty! The graphics over all including animation looks like they rushed it out. At least the Soul of Darkness game was somewhat fun and it looked very good. Again that one too had bad controlling. Gotta rip'em off, Gotta rip'em off.
  7. I ended up finding the site through a torrent I believe for Nintendo Power.
  8. My uncle just died a month ago from cancer and I don't know how many other friends and family members have or have had it in the recent past. It seems to be getting worse these days with how many people contract the different forms of it. I too will keep you and your family in my prayers, I know this is a very hard thing to have to go through.
  9. Yeah, I've got a love-hate relationship with eBay myself. I like buying from eBay because you can get some amazing deals such as the Bond BluRay vol 3 that I bought today for $30 and free shipping. You can't beat that price! But selling on eBay is a pain in the rear because of what you just explained. They take a double dip by charging you listing fees and final price cut. On top of that they then take more from the paypal payment. I wish they never bought paypal it's just made things worse.
  10. Actually it could have just been a range of IP addresses they banned.
  11. Oh I guess I just remembered it wrong. I should have just checked
  12. Because you were the hacker!!!!!! OHNOS!
  13. I've only been here since Sept '07 I guess I'm a youngster
  14. Yeah and that's what I figured it was but still not been able to find anything on it. I may just have to rip the photo directly from Icons instead.
  15. I had one that was all about the history of Nintendo but I can't remember what it was called. It was such a good book started back in the 1800's going on through the present time and talked about the dirt of Nintendo's past and even the stuff we are used to from Nintendo today.
  16. They can be but that was part of the fun of this game was graphing out the maps. Now you can just download the maps.
  17. Here we go! Another company that thinks they can make a fool proof anti-piracy measures. It seems when they make an announcement like that hackers work even harder at cracking it.
  18. I don't get to watch them very often because my daughter is scared of them.
  19. Yeah every movie they release these days has to have a 3D version I don't understand it. Most of the time they throw in extra stuff that just makes it lame because they want the WOW IT"S IN MY FACE effect.
  20. We each like what we like. You can't help it there is no shame in enjoying something that someone else does not, as long as you have fun really that's all that matters. Now if you hate it and say you like it just because everyone else does or love it and say you hate it because of the consensus then that is just not right.
  21. Some times you can get lucky and I won't lie, I have bought from people on eBay with little feedback only because of deals but they are regulated and I can get my money back if something falls through. As for you comment on gaming vs. magazines I too am more interested in games as opposed to the magazines. I'm a huge retro gamer but I do enjoy the magazines as well but there are only a few that I collect. Like Nintendo Power, Sega Visions and Official Dreamcast.
  22. Lame! As if the movie was not bad enough, but to re-release it. Oh well I guess there is enough people that really love that movie where he will make bank again.
  23. Well look at the way your acting right now, you are extremely defensive over something that is so blatantly obvious. That right there makes my point even stronger. If other people want to buy from you that is fine as I stated in my original post, and I quote "For me it's your a new user so I don't have much faith that you will follow through." I would not send money to anyone that I don't know, unless it's something that is at least protected such as eBay. So get your panties out of a bunch and good luck selling those magazines. It's nice that you have spent time helping with the group and for that I give you a mighty big THANK YOU! That's awesome. But that is not enough for a judgment of character. Posting in the forums is how we get to know you and there are several people here in the forums that I talk to outside of the forums because we've gotten to know each other. You have made a whole 2 posts on the forum and just joined in February. You want trust then stick around and post a bit let us get to know you. So far 50% of your posts are showing me that you do not have a trustworthy character.
  24. For me it's your a new user so I don't have much faith that you will follow through. Just like ebay I wouldn't bid on anyone that has no feedback.
