  2. Might I suggest stickying this, and updating it with which prizes have been claimed as people win?
  3. My congrats to you, Areala I would've given them sooner, but I've been having some computer issues that have only been just recently resolved. Congratulations to you and your wife
  4. Working on UDLR 3. Plus finally getting back on to indexing.

  5. Welcome to the Winner's List, WWWolf. I really need to get back into the magazine indexing groove...
  6. Well done RetroDefense! I think that you're probably the most likely of all of us to win the End-of-the-Year Reward given your amount of Week Wins
  7. Very good for you Areala Good luck for the coming weeks
  8. I've just gotten the magazine I've won - Sega Visions! April/May 1991! The Magazine for Sega Video Game Players! It is excellent. Far less advertisements than EGM2! Thank you very much, Phillyman.
  9. I attack with minimalism, functionality, cleanliness, easy-to-readability, and grace
  10. It'll be a long time before that happens There is, after all, the Australian, German, Mexican etc. Non-English territories video gaming magazines still yet to come, plus - with any luck - that fanzines index.
  11. Congrats, Areala! You deserve it. The first 25 issues of Computer Gaming World... impressive.
  12. Probably not that rare, but I have: Cartridge-Only Azure Dreams for GBC CIB The Legendary Starfy CIB Magical Starsign Bentley Compu-vision (four built in games, two built in controllers) with box (in vomitous but readable [where pieces aren't missing] condition) and wires
  13. I got Issue 1 of EGM2, Street Fighter 2 vs Mortal Kombat 2. It came in a yellow, bubblewrap-edge package, inside a bit of white plastic. Inside the white plastic was another, transparent plastic bag which held the magazine. Thank you very much for the care in packing, Phillyman, and for the magazine as well
  14. Yep, at long last I intend to get more, though the one I get will still make me very happy. Good luck for the coming weeks, and once I get my magazine, I'll make sure I let you all know.
  15. I might be able to obtain reliable and correct information on a number of fanzines, though I can't make guarantees for every fanzine on my list.
  16. I'll look at them again. Well, we should. All professionally published newsletters or magazines ought to be indexed. That also brings up the question I so persistently, doggedly wonder about, of fanzines. We can't exactly put them in the Magazine database, and they don't belong in the strategy guide database, so wouldn't there have to be a Fanzine Database? I can help with the indexing on those (I have digital copies of several fanzines).
  17. I would like to point out that there are some missing issues for some magazine collections I have been indexing. In particular, Atari Age is missing the first two issues - which took a newsletter/fanzine-like black-and-white format, as well as Big K, which ran for twelve issues, but shows only eight. If anyone else has noticed missing issues, please point them out for the good Curators of this wonderful website. We must do all we can to make sure Retromags has a complete database! Thank you for your time. --Hunter Of Bugs
  18. Release schedule for 2014: Issue Zero -- November/December 2013 -- February Issue One -- January/February/March 2014 -- February or March Issue Two -- April 2014 -- March Issue Three -- May/Jun 2014 -- June Issue Four -- Jul/Aug 2014 -- August Issue Five -- Sep/Oct 2014 -- October Issue Six -- Nov/Dec 2014 -- December Issue Seven -- Holiday 2014 -- December or January 2015 By the way, I need some help on this - what measurement for pages should I use on Scribus? I'm having issues uploading it to Magcloud. (classification: Magazine)
  19. Incidentally, what's the full extent of your collection, RetroDefense?
  20. Er, that's assuming there will be a Fanzine Database. :3
  21. I am plugging away best as I can - I have a much smaller collection of magazines than you or RetroDefense, so I've got to squeeze out as many entries as possible from 31 NPs. Though, believe, when that Fanzine Database comes, I think I'll beat all of you. I have managed to amass a fair collection of fanzines of PDF. My collection: Nintendo Power No. 253 & 255-285 Digital Press No. 1-52 & Special Editions No. 1-3 Game Time with Mister Raroo No. 1 NES-Bit No. 1 NextGeneration No. 4 Official Dreamcast Magazine No. 0 Pure Nintendo Magazine No. 12-14 Sega Visions No. 7 At current time, anyway. I will be getting more as time goes on.
