Im on a mission to find magazines that have, for one reason or another, have not been scanned and uploaded online, and do so for the good of gamers everywhere. So, I am currently looking for any issues of Play Magazine (Not the Playstation one), Official Dreamcast Magazine, N-Gage Magazine, and Gamefan. Anyone willing to sell?

About two years ago, Play Magazine closed up shop, and we lost one of the best magazines to grace the industry. It is a real shame that we lost it, and it will be missed. But, you know what is odd? No one has bothered to scan and archive issues of Play. Seriously, I haven't found any issues online anywhere. Even stranger, they were also sold in ebook format on Play's website, so it would have been incredibly easy to archive. Does anyone have any scanned issues of Play, by chance?

I've been looking for the Nintendo Power issue that contains the game walkthrough for Dragon Warrior 1 & 2 for the Game Boy Color. Does anybody know which issue this is, and if it has been uploaded?

Just went on a 360 RPG binge: Infinate Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon, and Eternal Sonata. Needless to say, I will not be emerging from my game room for some time, now.

I can't wait for this game. It should finally break the stereotype that the Wii doesn't have adult games.

It would be nice if they added a Wii external HDD. Anyway, I would like to see more SNES RPG's, and of course, it's a long shot, but Rare's N64 games.

Super Mario World. It was the GBA remake, and I beat ALL the levels, including the hidden ones.

Obviously, no gamer, anywhere, under any circumstance, truly thinks Zelda is a bad game. It's definitely one of the best games on the NES, and even of all time.

Saturn Bomberman [sega Saturn]- With 10-player support, and 4-player online support, it is definitely a fun game to play at big parties. Faceball 2000 [Game Boy]- The only FPS on the, and probably the only 3D game on the Gameboy, along with 16-player link cable games with only 1 game cart, it is definitely the most powerful multiplayer game ever. Death Tank Zwei [sega Saturn]- A 7-player "Worms" clone that's better than the game it's trying to imitate. Big, flashing lights, and a huge number of weapons, it's a fun little game to play if you get bored at a party. Mario Kart DS [Nintendo DS]- Quite possibly the best racing game ever made, with 8-player local and 4-player online races on a portable console, I played this for years with my friends on the bus ride to school.

Some argue it is an ARPG, like the Oasis series or Elemental Gimmick Gear, which are normally regarded as ARPG. I say it isn't. In RPGs, your character has hit points and stats. Zelda doesn't have them, so I think it is an Action-Adventure game.

I just got a mint condition NES power glove... and it's so baaaad.

My favorite emulators have been on consoles. ZSNESbox on the Xbox, and Masterboy on the PSP.

Beetlejuice for the NES. Simply scum. Also, this might be controversial, but I simply hate those quicktime event laserdisk games. Dragon's Lair, Brain Dead 13, Space Ace.

Dragon Warrior. It's much better than Final Fantasy. It's what got me started in RPG's, really. It's simple, straightforward, has a predetermined goal, and since I was young, I couldn't understand the complexity of FF, and preferred DW.

A golden mario cartridge? That sounds like something very rare, very obscure, and very awesome.

Great Game. I haven't felt this satisfied with a game since Golden Sun for the GBA.

Games require more depth now. You can't just spend a few minutes on a game today to get its full effect. That's why aracdes died.

Coffee. I hate that stuff.

I'm a big NiGHTS fan, and both games were very fun to play. I like how its gameplay puts it in a genre entirely its own.

I think it's an okay browser. It's fast, simple, and does what it says.

Warning: My reply has heavy metaphor usage. If you are a literal reader, avert your attention to some other post.Right on, dude. It seems like different genres have dominance in different eras of gaming. Platformers hopped, skipped and jumped on the 8-bit era, Beat 'em Ups beat the crap out of the 16-bit era, RPG's told an adventurous tale of the 32-bit era, and FPS' are sniping the 128-bit/64-bit and current eras. I want more RPGs, too, but I don't think they'll ever have the same impact they did as in the 32-bit era. Developers only recently discovered the appeal of the FPS genre. We all had a good ride on the FPS horse in the last era, but now the horse is dead, and developers won't stop beating it. I wonder, when gamers finally grow out of this FPS slump, where it will turn to next?

That is a very addictive game. I don't think many people will buy it, though, since it is free to play online. But, people bought Alien Hominid, so this might sell, too.

Well, Rare DID say they would clear up the whole Stop n' Swop thing once and for all with NnB, so that may happen.

Phantasy Star, Alex Kidd, Zillion, Ultima, Psycho Fox... ah, good times.

THANK YOU! Finally, people who agree that games are not just tech demos! A game needs to be fun, engaging, and challenging. That's just what the Mario games are. Anyone who would dare criticize the face of all gaming, Mario, doesn't deserve to be called a gamer.
