  1. Well, I for one was a little disappointed in the article right from the very first game, Gaiares. Not only does he fail to credit the gloriously mulleted professional gamer Jaime Bunker by name (so disrespectful of a gaming legend), he goes so far as to imply that Mr. Bunker's involvement in the advertising campaign for the game is something to be laughed at. Shameful. Then, not but one sentence later, he makes a joke about how the pronunciation of the game is a mystery, adding further insult to injury to Mr. Bunker by proving that your brother was unfamilar with his entire oeuvre of frame-worthy advertising pieces. Can he not see that the Great Jaime Bunker has forseen others' inferior intelligence/reading skills and has magnanimously provided us all with a pronunciation guide printed right on his T-Shirt?: Sigh. Well, I'll give your brother the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't notice the T-Shirt because he was too transfixed by the power and magnificence of Mr. Bunker's mullet. Aren't we all. Aren't we all...

  2. Very good read. I have just a few of those games, and that's Chakan and Streets of Rage 3. Man Chakan is one tough game. I find it harder than SoR3.

  3. I still have my old mags from when I was a kid/teenager. I am very happy this site is around. Gives me an opportunity to read the issues I missed. I still get game informer but its nothing like the old mags of old. I must be getting old because I miss 90's gaming.

  4. Lol, it came in today and it turns out they sent me a CG Play Action Strategies SNES book instead. I would be more angry about it if I already had it, but this goes nicely with the others either way. Trying again...

  6. I remember way back when bothering my mother for the latest video game magazine when we went shopping. Usually Nintendo Power, but sometimes EGM. Finally got to the point where I wheedled a subscription out of her. I don't have many of those anymore, but hopefully I'll be able to contribute something to the group.

  7. Lol, I passed by this one on Amazon, thinking it was just another CG guide. Only six bucks, so placedon't an order. I'l know it once I look inside. (Crosses fingers) Even if it's not, thanks for the help and it will go well with my collection either way.
