  1. That does not surprise me one bit. Ever since eBay started up, there's been people selling advertisements from magazines. You should see some of the other ads that have been selling!
  2. Yikes! I am sorry to hear about that, Areala. I can't say much that hasn't been said, but I do hope things improve and that there is no lasting damage. And that you and water can get back on good terms again. ^_^
  3. Yay for birthdays! Enjoy, have fun, and get lots of presents!
  4. It is also on the GBA if you include the Phantasy Star Collection, and the Xbox 360 and PS3 if you include the Genesis Collection. And the Wii if you include the virtual console. Do those count?
  5. Wasn't it also released for the PC-Engine?
  6. Au contraire, mon frere. Now, I did say Game Boy as well, but I did say Game Boy Color. It's right in between "3DO" and "Countless DVD releases". ^_^
  7. It is my understanding that the magazine is in very poor condition, with missing and seriously damaged pages, which is why E-Day was asking if anyone had this mag in better condition.
  8. I did say Game Boy Color, so there! ~hmph~ ^_^
  9. That is the real question, isn't it? Do I sacrifice a magazine that has at least some sentimental value for me? I could try scanning it myself I guess, but I haven't scanned a stapleless magazine yet, cover notwithstanding. Hmm...
  10. I have a copy of this magazine. It was the first EGM I bought. Aside from a dent in the spine, it is complete and relatively unmarred.
  11. Okay, so it's Princess Daphne from Dragon's Lair. Off the top of my head, Dragon's Lair has been on: The Arcade Game Sega CD Philips CD-i 3DO Game Boy Color Countless DVD releases There were also releases for the Commodore 64 SNES Game Boy But they were all new adventures based on the original, so I don't know if they count. Are you also including the new adventures made for Xbox, Game Cube, and PS2?
  12. Very neat article. But what I found most interesting was that the images of the magazines came from retromags. And the fact that retromags was credited with some of the magazine cover images. Pretty cool, hm? http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/4226/electronic_games_the_arnie_katz_.php
  13. I did have to make sure it was going to arrive in as good a condition as I sent it after all. ^_^
  14. Yay! Glad it made it there safe and sound!
  15. I second this. I have used these programs for quite some time and I can vouch for just how helpful they are, especially when a collection gets large. They are tremendously helpful and out of all of the collection software programs I have tried, Collecterz's software is the most robust and easiest to work with. I think the most helpful of all is the ability to work with a barcode scanner, which can collect all the information from the barcode alone, rather than having to enter in all of the information by hand. They have their own handheld USB scanner available which can store about a hundred barcodes so you don't have to sit at your computer to scan them, then just upload when you're ready. Very handy! ~heh~ I sound like a commercial! But really, I can't emphasize enough how helpful these programs are.
  16. Actually, no. It is not a Game Gear re-release, but a portable Genesis, much like the Nomad except it comes pre-loaded with games. Innex is the company that got the rights to make these.
  17. That might be a neat console. The price is good and I am curious about the "pseudo-32 bit" compatibility, but I think I'll wait for a bit.
  18. Although I can relate to your frustration, this site exists because of those who contribute to it. Whether it's by making posts, uploading magazines or otherwise. If all you want to do is complain, you won't get anything.
  19. I would love to see them! I feel the ZX80 was under-appreciated for its day. Worthy of note. ^_^
  20. I loved the old Namco Museum games for the PSX for the same reasons, as well as the Williams Arcade Classics games, too. The Taito Legends and Capcom Classics games are also pretty good, and Atari Anthology is jam-packed with info, even though it isn't just about arcade games. The Activision Anthology is good, too, as well as the Genesis collection Areala mentioned. When the companies that made the games include a history and videos and neat extras, it makes it all the more worthwhile.
  21. That is why there is a "Best Offer" on everything! ^_^ No price is set in stone.
  22. Bumpdate... Store has boatloads of video games and video game related stuffs! Go on and take a look! More mags as well up soon! ^_^
