  1. I know the hype over them is dying down lately but I still enjoy finding one I didn't have before. I'm picking up 4 more tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone else gets them. I have 78 of them so far, I'm hoping to get them all soon.
  2. Yeah that is pretty kickass. Have you guys heard of a store called 2nd And Charles? Over here they have old school figures that people sell to them and old games all super cheap. They have a ton of old Link figures for sale there where i live. I'm excited about tomorrow, the HD Twilight Princess comes out with the amiibo. It looks awesome
  3. Hey Ghostbusters II was fine. lol I didn't hate it. I'm not sure about this one I never could laugh at anything Melissa McCarthy does. That show Mike And Molly is probably one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
  4. You can actually buy new bottles of crystal pepsi. They made a fresh new batch and sent them out at the end of last year. And does anyone else miss Sprite Remix? That stuff was like liquid skittles. Apparently if you poured that Airborne powder into regular sprite it would make it taste like it but I don't think they make Airborne anymore. And they made new batches of Mt. Dew Pitch Black but only released it in limited quantities in some states.
  5. I remember that one. To me there isn't gonna be a better basketball game than Looney Tunes B-Ball on the SNES. That game was the shit. I would rent it all the time. Another bad one would have to be Mario's Time Machine. I can't imagine it did well on the NES why they would waste time porting it and upgrading it to the SNES hardware I guess nobody will ever know.
  6. Damn Shaq Fu was awful. The graphics impressed me though. The animation and detail on the characters was good, I have to give it that. And Wayne's World was insane. I have no idea what they were smoking with that one. I never was any good at those old Mortal Kombat games. Once they made the jump to the PS2 I started getting better at them. The latest one is great though. And is Rap Jam the one that has rappers playing basketball?
  7. I miss the old days when games had instructions. Especially when they were full color. I buy games that are expensive and having the instructions with it really makes me happy. If not I'll even rebuy an extra copy if I see it has the booklet. The old Lunar games had some of my favorite with the hard back leatherette books. They actually put care into them. Nowadays all it is is a little paper with the games name on it and maybe health warnings. And if you're lucky maybe some DLC codes. Have you guys heard about that monthly box that releases indie games in physcal form? https://www.theindiebox.com/%C2'> kinda reluctant to try it though. I have a copy of retro city rampage from a different box, called the arcade block. It's like an old SNES style box it's awesome.
  8. One of the worst I've tried is Mario Is Missing. I never really understood it. I remember renting it as a child and being disappointed. We didn't often rent games so it made it even worse. Wasted a weekend. Its still better than the NES version.
  9. A more elaborate Mario Paint would be sweet. You could make anything you want. I remember someone made a stand-alone music maker from the game that allowed for way longer songs.
  10. Currently playing Skies Of Arcadia for gamecube . I've been wanting to play it since the dreamcast magazine Demo Disc. Finally getting to
  11. Back when I was a kid and my family would all play games like Mario Party. Good times
  12. What do you think about your PSTV? I didn't use mine too long. Most of my games weren't compatible with it
  13. lol yeah I love the nerd too but I couldn't even finish the movie. I have no idea how it ends and I don't really care either. It just seemed to be trying way too hard.
  14. The wii u is fine. My username is urko948. Nobody I know has one so I have zero friends on there. I hate how it has virtually no storage space though
  15. Virtual boy is pretty cool it just gets a bad wrap. I almost have a complete north American collection too. I'm gonna be finishing it up next week
  16. Well back then it felt like many people were Making the games because they love games. Made by people who play them. Just feels like these days anyone can make them and they do because of the money and they just do what everyone else does instead of being creative. At least the indie scene is trying new stuff sometimes. Except for those indie developers who make those 8 bit sidesscroll shooters. I think there's even more today than there was from back in the day and none of them have the same character that they used to.
  17. I think it feels different because on emulators it's not the same look as a tv. And there's also lag. And if you try playing retro on an HD TV there's always gonna be a little lag. Even on the new games. Almost every time I boot up guitar hero live I have to recalibrate it 2 or 3 times with the auto feature to fix it
  18. New Leaf is great. The Gamecube version is my favorite personally. It's got a lot of the old NRS games on it that Nintendo charges $5 a piece for these days. Scribblenauts it's a pretty good game for a 10 year old too. It let's you try to figure out puzzle type stuff by typing in anything you want. Even making zombie tacos and whatnot
  19. Almost every day. I play more on the old things than on my new systems.
  20. Just bought a virtual boy. Never understood why it got so much hate. I got lucky and picked up almost every game for it at one store cheap.
  21. Physical copies are always the best but these days new games you buy are half digital anyway even if you own the disc. It's a shame because 80% of games these days come out unfinished. Say in 10-15 years you want to go back to it and you can't because it was either online only or entire modes were a download that you don't have access to.
  22. Yeah that would be pretty sweet. They probably won't though. Not everyone would want to design dungeons though so I don't think they would. A Mario Kart track Maker would be great too. They would rather make them themselves and charge you for it though
  23. Yeah this story has been circulating for years now with the same image. It's disappointing that there will probably never be a dreamcast 2 or a Sega console of any type ever again. Dreamcast was freaking sweet. Dreamcast magazine was awesome too with the demo discs.
