  1. Time Travel...Check the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy on that one.
  2. $80.00?? WOW...I would have a serious anyurism (burst blood vessel in the brain) if I had to pay those kinds of prices. It would require me to have 3 jobs and work 28 hour days in order to afford my gaming habit. Let alone my wife. I do not know how you do it.
  3. I use to love swordfighting. I say "use to" because I have become very disillusioned with it in the past couple of days. For some reason my remote keeps coming unsynced when sword fighting. I will be in the middle of something and all of a sudden left is no longer left and I have to crane my arms around in wierd ways in order to block a basic overhead twap.
  4. Yeah..sadly it didn't show the "Ultimate" way to get the cartridge to work...I.e. Chucking the 2p controller into the deck to hold it down properly.
  5. I read all of your articles...and yes...this game and Kid Icarus are ALL God of War ripoffs. I say this because God of War's time travel motiff means it happened before this game or Kid Icarus. So please tell me more about this game before I spend my Wii points. Have you beat it? What is the best/worse thing about it? Are you getting paid to flaunt this game in front of us?
  6. That might be one of the most awesome things you have ever posted Philly. Not only did it show the crap you had to go through to get it installed, but also showed the great "blow on it" and then "Shove excitebike into the opening to hold down the cartridge" approach. The he-man reference just got it bonus points in the "awesome" category.
  7. I really like the idea of more people here, but is the site going to be okay if it goes main stream? I mean server/bandwidth, etc. Not to mention any latent copyright issues. If you really want Philly, I can spread the word...I just have only been mentioning the site to people I would actually trust so far.
  8. Not as many as I would have expected...
  9. I love the game also...but to say it is without flaws is like calling a follower of the Church of the Second Coming of the Prophet Zarquon atheists.
  10. Okay, I hate to be the one to state the obvious....but isn't it always Phillyman that finds this stuff? I mean first it was...I don't even remember what was first but that stupid duck and now this...
  11. Oh yeah...plenty of glitches in that one...Just for some reason I could not put it down until I beat it. Sadly beating this game is a feat since a couple of the glitches can literally make you start all over (invisible key won't pop no matter how many times you shoot it). Also - Clash at Deamonhead This awesome "chose your own path" game is hampered by severe glitches all over the place. It was an amazing idea...but just a little ahead of its time. Isn't the NES Powerglove one giant glitch after the next? I still love that thing...after setting it up for 45 minutes I can totally play Punch Out! with it.
  12. I don't have a link to it (I will try to find it) but the reason Pit was in SSB was because they were in serious talks to make a new Pit game (in the vein of Mario Galaxy) as well as some kind of upgraded re-release of the original. Sadly I haven't heard anything else about it since soon after SSB came out. The original Kid Icarus was actually fun and challenging. You do not normally get both. Beating it was like trying to beat Contra on only 3 guys. Trust me, about 99.9% of the world is spoiled by the 99 guy code and you don't realize just how easy it is to get hit by a stray bullet.
  13. This pretty much sums it up. If I walk into a store like that and some wants to "help" me, there is a 73.54% chance of someone getting hurt. That percentage is lower because I would feel bad drawing blood on a woman for trying to help me with games. I had a short period of time when I was between jobs and thought I would apply at a gamestop (seriously...even with this group it would be hard to find someone who knew more about games then I do...) Apparently that was not enough to even warrant a full interview. Sad since I had someone telling me that the PS2 Wireless Guitar for Guitar Hero would work on my PS3 because they both work on the whole "Wireless thing". For those who don't want to go look, the PS3 lacks PS2 controller ports which are required for the wireless reciever that makes the guitar wireless. In conclusion, Gamestop sucks because they actually TRY to suck that hard. QED.
  14. I am finding that with the addition of the WiiMotion+, it really matters what side of my body I hold the wii mote on. I think once I actually figured that out Canoeing became a lot more fun.
  15. I use to bowl a lot. I find that the new wiimotion+ actually adds a lot more reality to the bowling. I asked a friend who goes hunting (bow) and he says that the archery is actually pretty good. I am not sure if I like the basketball one though. I love playing basketball and even got 3rd place in a national 3pt competition...but dang it..I can't break 22 points on this one. All in all, I like it so far (about 3 hours into it). Lets just hope they use the Motion+ in everything now. Did I just hear a lightsaber hum to life?
  16. Wow... That might come in useful when all of my original issue NESs die out on me. I still have my original (from release) in working order, but a couple of the "new version" NES have died permanently on me. Might be worth picking one of these up for when they die. I just do not know if I like the controller on it. They should give you one NES and one SNES controller!
  17. Update: Apparently, this MMO isn't as official as it seems. You may return to reality now. Everything is...fine.
  18. Well, we know what you are like Triverse....don't try and force your ways on Philly like that...we can only handle one of you as it is!
  19. No. That is somewhere around 42. At thirty you are about as old as the characters on friends. Brain death edit : Happy Birthday.
  20. Enter the Matrix I mean the game wasn't even playable. After about the third level you had an 80% chance the game would just freeze...forever. Not to mention it was a overhyped game based on the second matrix (which was by far the worse) and you got to play a character that no one really cared about. QED.
  21. Good luck Meppi, if there is anything I can do let me know!
  22. I will get around to that sometime in the very near future.

    The Wizard

I TOTALLY miss the game glove.
  24. Okay, I am a little out of sorts today because of a long day at work, but if you just break it down for me what you want to know I can help. I have made a bunch of arcade cabinets from scratch...both Jamma and Non-Jamma. I also have made a couple of Emulator machines. When it comes to building a cabinet, I have all kinds of advice that might help you out. Just give me the cliff notes version and I should be able to help.
  25. I try those Jones sodas every year....and every year I swear I won't do it again. Just something deep inside of me thinks there a meal in a drink is just next-gen type stuff. I mean that is one step closer to the food machine from Star Trek and we ALL want one of those. P.S. The turkey is freaking awful.
