  1. I think Michael Keaton was the best Batman. The two movies he was in entertained me the most out of all the Batman film's. The great direction and actors like Jack Nicholson and Danny De Vito playing opposite him, helped to make him the best Batman in my opinion. And of course Keaton's Batman got to play with Michelle Pfeiffer in a cat suit. No contest.
  2. I may be in the minority but I thought this game was amazing. O.k. maybe it didn't deserve 10/10 but then how many games do? I was totally drawn in by the plot and the convincing world of the game and while GTA 4 isn't my favourite GTA (that's still San Andreas), I would still give this game 9.5/10.
  3. I'd have to say chocolate. I know I could get my caffeine fix from other drinks but nothing hit's the spot like coffee, to wake you up in the morning.
  4. For me it's the 32x. I don't know what Sega's strategy was behind releasing this add on, especially as the Saturn was so close to being released.
  5. 10. Quake 64 9. Super Smash Bros. 8. Starfox 64 7. Zelda: Majora's Mask 6. F-Zero X 5. Mario Kart 64 4. Rogue Squadron 3. Goldeneye 007 2. Super Mario 64 1. Zelda: ocarina of Time
  6. Dragon's Lair was definitely the hardest Nes game that I played. That game was so frustrating that I gave up on it pretty quickly. It's a pity the game was so hard as it looked amazing for a Nes game.
  7. Secret of Mana was the first Rpg game that I ever played. I played it nearly every day for a couple of week's but I never managed to finish it. Hopefully it will come out on the Virtual Console and I can have another go at finishing it.
  8. It's got to be Super Man 64 for me. How did such a mess of a game get released by the developers? Luckily for me I rented the game first before making the mistake of buying it.
  9. 5. Shenmue 4. Shenmue 2 3. Virtua Fighter 3tb 2. Soul Calibur 1. Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike How did this amazing console not do better than it did?
  10. Street Fighter 2 was the first game that I really mastered on the Snes. I wasn't that amazing at it but then I started putting in some long practise session's and I was soon regularly beating most of my friend's. You never forget your first combo.
  11. I wouldn't say I was scared by Doom on the Snes but there were a couple of fairly scary moment's. It was a different story when I played Doom on the Playstation. Playing this game with the light's out and the sound turned way up freaked me out quite a bit but in a good way.
  12. Apart from old video game magazine's, which I like a lot, I will pretty much read anything, as long as it grip's me early on. I like to read every thing from comic's like 2000 A.D. to history books. At the moment I'm reading The Catcher in the Rye again, which is my favourite novel.
  13. I never got rid of my N64, unlike some of my other consoles. It may have had that weird soft focus look on some of it's games but you definitely made the right choice in getting one again. My favourite N64 games are Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
  14. I've got a 48k ZX Spectrum, a Mega Drive, a Nintendo 64, a Playstation, a Playstation 2, an X Box, a Wii and a Dual Screen, plus a handfull of games for each. I used to own a Snes, a Game Boy, a Game Boy Colour and a Game Boy Advance and I wish I had held on to them. I would like to have a Saturn and a Neo Geo.
  15. Mine is the Snes, mainly for the amazing Street Fighter 2 conversions from Capcom and of course because of all the brilliant first party Nintendo games. The graphics and sound were so good on this console and even the way it looked impressed me (the European Snes). The only down side to the machine for me was the fact that the Madden football games never seemed to measure up to the Mega Drive's version's. Of all the console's that I've owned the Snes is definitely my favourite.
  16. I drink Murphy's which is like Guinness but is way nicer. When I drank lager it was Foster's. I dont drink much anymore though, couldn't take the hangover's.

    Favorite Music

I really like the Pixies, Nina Simone, the Clash, Public Enemy, Hank Williams, actually I better stop there as this list could go on forever. As a kid I only listened to what was considered cool by me and my friends, but eventually I grew up and realized there was a lot of different types of music around and now I like what I like, whether it's cool or not.
  18. Computer and Videogames was my first magazine subscription. As soon as my interest moved from computer games to video games I started to buy Mean Machines, which was a British magazine which covered the 8 bit and the new 16 bit consoles. If you owned a Snes or Mega Drive this was a great magazine as they had in depth coverage of both. I then came across EGM one day in a small newsagents and was blown away by this American magazine which I had no idea existed. Eventually this same newsagents started to get Game Pro as well. From then on, allthough I would buy other magazines, EGM and Game Pro were my main magazines.
  19. Super Mario World was the first Mario game I beat. That game was my entire life for a couple of weeks as a kid, and I still think it's the best Mario game of all time. The first Mario game I played was Super Mario Bros. 3 and while I was never able to beat it, I sure had a great time trying.
  20. Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha was a game that I was looking forward to, more out of curiosity than anything else, to see if Street Fighter could work in 3D. Well it didn't work and neither did any of the other 3D Street Fighters. Street Fighter should only ever be 2D. Can't wait for Street Fighter 4.
  21. I never played Super Mario RPG when it came out, I think mainly because it was released really late into the life of the Snes and I was thinking more about all the next gen stuff on the horizon at that point, but now that it's on the Virtual Console I might check it out. The game I play the most is Street Fighter 2. Even today I'm still playing it on the VC and it always brings back memories of heated matches in dark arcades with friends. Even though I suck at this game and many other fighting games, it's my favourite game of all time and I know I will be playing it even when I'm 90.
  22. I'd like to see some Sinclair Spectrum games released for the VC as this was the games machine I grew up with as a kid. I know that not many people outside of Europe will have used a speccy, but it had some pretty cool games. Also I'd like to see Street Fighter 2:SCE for the Mega Drive on the VC. I think I heard that it may be comming out on the Japanese VC, and I would like to see how it stands up to the Snes version that I had back in the day. Oh yeah, I also would really like E.A. to put all their old madden games for the Snes and Mega Drive on the VC.
  23. Wow this is kind of difficult. There are so many great games out there and even though my list changes from time to time, at the moment this is my top 5. 5 Zelda: A Link to the Past 4 Super Mario World 3 GTA San Andreas 2 Super Metroid 1 Street Fighter 2
  24. Hey. Thanks a lot for all the information. I've just downloaded and installed that ComicRack program. I'm going to download a magazine from Retromags next week sometime and hopefully I'll be able to open it this time. Thanks again for your help.
  25. HI. I wonder if you can help me. I just joined this site recently and as I know practically nothing about computers I havent been able to successfully download any magazines yet. I've just been getting a message about cbz/cbr to pdf when I try to open what I've just downloaded. Anyway I hope you can help. Thanks.
