  1. I've found most Genesis hacks and home brews run on my Mega Everdrive on real hardware.
  2. Actually Marktrade was looking into a book binding kit, I don't know if if he bought one but apparently such things exist to align and reglue pages.
  3. I want to get a rhea, but they are always sold out. Any tips on getting one?
  4. I e been playing Pokemon Go a bit. Pretty addicting.
  5. I have a Mega Everdrive and it's pretty great. I feed it to my Sega CDX which I output to my framemeister up scaler through RGB to my HDTV. Pure bliss.
  6. You can check the database for a more current issue listing with covers. https://www.retromags.com/magazines/category/usa/electronic-gaming-monthly/?sort_col=field_20&sort_order=asc&per_page=24&st=240#.V3iTDpBpah8
  7. Ya the only thing really is the magazine check tool that audits your magazines. I usually announce it on the shout box. But some changes are so small not worth redone loading. Like changing the file name or updating coverage. I'll try to make a more visible announcement.
  8. I'm not sure what issues that came with.
  9. I've had great success editing stapled mags. The black construction paper I uses flattens it pretty good. I slide it up to the edge of the scanner then apply slight pressure on the lid while scanning.
  10. No I don't believe so. Unless it was a loose copy or something.
  11. I dont think scanning it bound will be an issue for these missing pages.
  12. EGM 16 fixed and uploading now. Removed from the list. Thanks for the info and scan retrodefense. I ended up just taking your scan and only copying the part of the image that was covered by sticker and blending it in with the original scan. It came out ok. Only a zoomed in trained eye might notice the difference from the original. The sticker covered a whole worm character of the artwork. Also cleaned up the front cover and a few pages in the mag as well as adding the two missing pages.
  13. Oh I figured since it was the back cover You could just lay it flat on the glass and scan it. Seems pretty safe like a cover scan right?
  14. Ok I got the replacements for page that match exactly these ads from 2 other issues(Which I scanned oddly enough, knew we had them.) I added these two and renumbered the rest. Can you scan the back cover of EGM 16 for me so I can fix everything and knock it off of my list?
  15. Indeed some of those pages are in other issues.
  16. I dont remember if I added that on EGM 16 or not. But I have in the past added something in the database page for a magazine regarding missing stuff. E-day and I also use the shout box and WIP threads to ask for assistance. But sometimes it takes awile to get an answer back. I decided to personally take on correcting the EGM stuff. Would be cool if people could choose a publication they could be responsible for and audit everything we have on it. Too much for one person to take on the whole site. But I have a pretty good handle on the what we need to fix for EGM and what is missing. Alot of alternate covers.
  17. Yes. I have a thread for every EGM thing here. https://community.retromags.com/topic/10120-egm-audit-thread-and-needed-corrections/#.V1ZR1ZBpZCk
  18. Awesome! Also forgot to mention Scanning to a Tiff is preferable for editing. It's larger but it's only a few pages.
  19. I will absolutely edit them and add them to the scan. It's on my to do list. Just need 300 dpi or greater scan, (600 if you can). Use the descreen option if you have it on your scanner. Upload it for me, Dropbox free account can easily accommodate. Can I ask what the content on the pages is? If there is enough border room depending on the content, it may be possible to scan by bending back the pages and pressing flat against the scanner.
  20. Well your right I went back and looked at my original post on my iPad Pro and now looks different. How do you enable the Adobe 98 color profile on your scanner?
  21. I took a look at this and its alot more than the cover that needs editing. The back page has some major rips, and the rest needs cleanup as well. I'll clean up the cover for you in my spare time though. But this IMO does not meet the editing requirments to go up here. Our admins may allow it of course. It's also not the retromags resolution standard of course eigther. Although I appreciate making a CBR version with retormags credit page. Also what is the resolution target for OGM? And how would I make a pdf? The stuff Ive done here I have high resoltion 600 dpi originals that wouldnt take long to resize and pack.
  22. Next up... EGM 32! Debound already and scanning.
  23. So the page numbers skip from 50 to 67. They are not missing. It's just that the magazine was printed that way.mthey probrably initially had another section but removed it before printing. Retro defenses copy had the same issue so can considered verified that this is correct. Also I debound this issue and it didn't seem like anything was missing. Just a page numbering error. Pretty good issue with previews of Winter CES games. Some never came out like Dando for the Genesis. This issue also marks the first 25 issues of EGM being completely preserved on the site.
