What's everyone's favorite video game music of all time?

Mine would be something like:

1) Ys Book I & II (TurboGrafx CD)

2) Final Fantasy VII (PSX)

3) Actraiser (SNES)

4) Sword of Vermilion (Genesis)

5) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)

Honorable mention to: Lunar the Silver Star (Sega CD), The 7th Guest (PC), SimCity (SNES) and Willow (NES).

I'll call it quits there. ;)

I really like Motoi Sakuraba's stuff.

There's so much good stuff to choose from, but...

Castlevania series (especially the earlier ones)

Mega Man (1-3, in particular)

Zelda series

Chrono Trigger

Earlier Final Fantasy games

Most of what I listen to consists of remixes, of course. The Dwelling of Duels, in particular, quite literally rocks. And I think Sixto Sounds puts out some incredible mixes (both individual and collaborative. And the Unchosen Paths project by goat is awesome as well. Scourge of 1691 is still one of my favorites. :)

i've always been partial to the Mega Man series music. 2 and 4 are particularly memorable. the Super Mario [3] and Sonic games were also very cool [some pieces from Sonic 2 and Sonic and Knuckles stand out for me].

then there's the music from the PSX/PS2 Legacy of Kain games.

I'll try to not sound boring, but there are some Famicom games whose music is astounding (even with the so limited hardware)

Captain Tsubasa 2 (The most strangest conconction of genres: Soccer and RPG)

Getsu Fuu Maden (samurai adventure game)

Wai Wai World 1 and 2 (fan service for Konami nuts)

If you haven't tried them, I invite you to do it (thru the usual ways :) )
